Arcade, the interactive demo tool at arcade.software, lets prospects click through your product in the browser. It has grown into two products: interactive demos, and an AI video generator for marketing teams, each with its own pricing page. People look for an alternative for a few reasons: the per-seat cost, the free plan's single demo, the fact that demos and AI video are two bills, or because they needed something else entirely. This page sorts seven alternatives by the job you use Arcade for.
Written by Bibin Mathew, who makes Nook. Prices checked on October 29, 2026 on each vendor's pricing page.
We make one of the tools here, Nook. Nook does not make interactive click-through demos. If that is what you need, Supademo, Storylane, Navattic and HowdyGo are the real alternatives, and we cover them first.
Short answer
The best Arcade alternative depends on which Arcade you use:
- Interactive demos with a bigger free plan and a lower yearly seat price: Supademo.
- Interactive demos that grow into HTML capture and CRM data: Storylane.
- HTML demos for a larger go-to-market team: Navattic.
- HTML demos with unlimited users on one price: HowdyGo.
- AI product videos and help articles from your recordings: Clueso.
- Polished screen recordings with automatic zooms, on a Mac: Screen Studio.
- A narrated demo video and a written guide from a recording you already have: Nook.
If you want interactive demos and AI marketing videos from one vendor, with a clean Chrome capture flow, Arcade is still a good choice. Its Growth plan includes MP4 and GIF export, branching and AI translations, which covers a lot.
Why people look for an Arcade alternative
Arcade does several things well. Its Chrome extension captures your screen and camera with smart zooms and cursor effects. Interactive demos get AI voiceover even on the free plan. Growth adds branching, analytics, branding removal and exports. The AI video product builds on-brand product videos you can edit by prompt or by hand, and Arcade even offers an MCP so you can ask an AI assistant for a video.
What Arcade costs in 2026
Arcade has two separate pricing pages, and the subscriptions do not include each other.
As of October 29, 2026, the Arcade interactive demo pricing page lists:
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly | Users | Published demos | Notable features |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 1 | 1 | AI voiceover, Arcade watermark, English only |
| Growth | $50/seat/month | $42.50/seat/month | Up to 10 | Unlimited | MP4 and GIF export, branching, AI translations, branding removal |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | Unlimited | Native Salesforce integration, SSO, up to 10 brand kits |
The page shows Growth at $50 and $42.50 per seat per month. The lower figure is 15% off and matches yearly billing. Extra Growth seats are $50 a month each, per the FAQ.
The Arcade AI video pricing page lists:
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly | Seats | Credits | Max video length |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 1 | 250, one time | 30 seconds, watermarked |
| Pro | $59/month | $49/month | 10 | 1,000 a month | 5 minutes, up to 4K |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom | 5 minutes |
Pro has credit tiers from 1,000 credits at $49 a month up to 10,000 credits at $469 a month.
The common reasons to switch
- One free demo is not much. The free interactive plan allows 1 published demo, where Supademo's free plan allows 5.
- Seats add up. Growth is per seat. Five people on yearly billing is $212.50 a month.
- Two products, two bills. If you want interactive demos and AI video, you pay for both.
- Credits are a budget to watch. The AI video product counts credits, so longer or more frequent videos mean a higher tier.
- You needed a guide, not a tour. Support, onboarding and client handover often need a narrated video and a written step-by-step guide people can keep, print or paste into a help center.

Supademo
What it is. Supademo builds interactive demos from screenshots or an editable HTML clone, with hotspots, tooltips, voiceover and branching. Its site says demos export as GIF, MP4 and PDF, and it also records screen and camera in up to 4K with automatic zoom. It connects to HubSpot, Salesforce, Slack, Marketo and Zapier.
Best for. Founders and small sales or customer teams who want the most interactive demos for the lowest entry price.
Price (as of October 29, 2026). From the Supademo pricing page: Free is $0 for 1 creator and 5 demos with unlimited views. Scale is $50 per creator per month, or $38 billed yearly, with unlimited demos, branching and analytics. Business is $249 a month, or $199 billed yearly, with 1 creator, and Growth is $450 a month, or $350 billed yearly, with 5 creators. Extra creators on those two are $50 a month. Enterprise is custom, from 10 creators, with SSO.
Strengths.
- Five free demos with unlimited views.
- A lower yearly seat price than Arcade Growth.
- PDF export, which we did not see on Arcade's pricing page.
Where it falls short vs Arcade. Supademo has no separate AI video generator like Arcade's. On monthly billing, Scale and Arcade Growth cost the same per seat. For a full look at Supademo and its rivals, see Supademo alternatives.
Storylane
What it is. Storylane builds interactive demos from screenshots, video or HTML capture, with AI voiceovers paid for in AI credits, lead capture and CRM integrations.
Best for. Teams that want to start on a cheap single seat and later move into HTML demos, account reveal and CRM data.
Price (as of October 29, 2026). From the Storylane pricing page, with a toggle marked "Yearly -20%": Free is $0 for 1 seat and 1 published demo. Starter is $50 a month, or $40 billed yearly, for 1 seat (extra seats $40), with unlimited demos, custom branding, and HubSpot and Zapier. Growth is $625 a month, or $500 billed yearly, for 5 seats, and adds HTML demos. Premium is $1,500 a month, or $1,200 billed yearly, for 10 seats, with Salesforce and SSO. Enterprise is custom.
Strengths.
- Starter is cheaper than Arcade Growth for one person.
- Screenshot, video and HTML demos in one place.
- AI voiceovers on every plan, in credits.
Where it falls short vs Arcade. HTML capture starts on Growth at $500 a month billed yearly, a big step from Starter. The free plan is 1 published demo, the same as Arcade's.
Navattic
What it is. Navattic is an HTML-first interactive demo platform with AI help, playbooks, account identification, A/B testing and integrations with Salesforce, Marketo and many other tools.
Best for. Larger marketing and sales teams that want HTML demos everywhere and deep integration with their go-to-market stack.
Price (as of October 29, 2026). The Navattic pricing page lists a free Starter plan with 1 seat and 1 demo. Base (5 seats) and Growth (10 seats) are billed annually with no public price, and Enterprise is custom. A startup plan for small seed-stage teams is available on request. We could not verify any paid price, so we have left it out.
Strengths.
- Unlimited HTML demos on every paid plan.
- AI voiceovers and AI avatar minutes on paid plans.
- Sales integrations such as Gong, Salesloft and Outreach on Growth.
Where it falls short vs Arcade. No public prices and annual-only paid plans. It is aimed at teams, not one person making a few demos.
HowdyGo
What it is. HowdyGo makes HTML interactive demos you can edit in place, with blur and hide tools and exports to GIF, WebM and MP4. Higher plans add live sandbox demos.
Best for. Teams with many people who need to make or edit demos and do not want per-seat pricing.
Price (as of October 29, 2026). From the HowdyGo pricing page: Starter is $159 a month with unlimited users and unlimited HTML demos. Pro is $399 a month and adds demo analytics, CRM integrations, automatic lead sending and a custom domain. Enterprise is custom, with SSO. The page says yearly billing saves 20% but does not list the yearly price. There is a 14-day trial.
Strengths.
- Unlimited users on every plan.
- HTML capture and video exports on the entry plan.
- In-place editing of captured text and images.
Where it falls short vs Arcade. No free plan, and the entry price is more than three Arcade Growth seats. Analytics and CRM features start on Pro.
Clueso
What it is. Clueso makes AI product videos and written help articles. You start from a browser recording, an uploaded rough recording, a slide deck, a document or screenshots. It adds AI voiceover, automatic zoom and spotlight effects, captions and, on its site, translation into 150+ languages. It also offers AI avatars.
Best for. Teams that used Arcade's AI video side for product and help videos, and also want written help articles from the same source.
Price (as of October 29, 2026). From the Clueso pricing page: Free is $0 with 10 minutes of video exports and 10 article exports a month. Solo is $40 a month billed yearly for 1 user, with 15 export minutes a month (3 hours a year). Business is $120 a month billed yearly for 2 users, with 30 export minutes a month (6 hours a year). Enterprise is custom, with SSO and voice cloning. The page showed only yearly prices and a limited-time discount banner when we checked.
Strengths.
- Video and help articles from the same recording.
- Works from files you already have, not only its extension.
- Wide language support and avatars.
Where it falls short vs Arcade. Clueso does not make interactive demos. Export minutes are a limit to watch, much like Arcade's credits. See Clueso alternatives for more on it.
Screen Studio
What it is. Screen Studio is a Mac screen recorder that makes recordings look polished: automatic and manual zoom, cursor smoothing, motion blur, camera layouts, captions, transcript-based editing and exports up to 4K at 60 fps. It also records iPhone and iPad screens over USB.
Best for. Mac users who liked the smooth zooms in Arcade's Chrome capture and want beautiful product videos they narrate themselves.
Price (as of October 29, 2026). From the Screen Studio pricing section: $29 a month on monthly billing or $9 a month on yearly billing, with every feature on every plan. Students and educators get 40% off.
Strengths.
- Some of the best-looking automatic zooms and cursor motion of any recorder.
- One plan with every feature.
- Shareable links and 4K exports.
Where it falls short vs Arcade. Mac only, with no Windows plans. No interactive demos, no AI-written script and no AI voiceover. You record and narrate yourself. A Screen Studio export is a good input for Nook if you later want AI narration and a written guide.
Nook
What it is. Nook turns a screen recording you already made into a narrated demo video and a step-by-step written guide. Upload an MP4, MOV or WebM up to 15 minutes from any recorder. There is no extension. Nook finds the steps, writes a script line for each, and voices it with an AI voice, or keeps your own voice with ums and silences cut, or uses captions only. It adds zooms on clicks, captions, intro and outro cards with your logo, background music, and blurs emails, card numbers and API keys. The guide exports to PDF, Word and Markdown with screenshots.
Best for. Jobs where people should watch and read, not click: help center articles, onboarding, client handover, app review screencasts for Shopify, Meta, Google OAuth and HubSpot (see app review videos), and short product demo videos for a landing page or launch.
Price (as of October 29, 2026). From the Nook pricing page: first video free, up to 1 minute, watermarked and view only. Starter is $9 a month for 5 videos. Pro is $19 a month for 20 videos, with every language, your own cloned voice, branded guides and handover kits. Business is $49 a month for 60 videos, with white-label pages and priority rendering. Yearly is 2 months free, extra videos are 5 for $9, and there are no seats.
Strengths.
- A video and a written guide from one upload, with a share link with chapters and an embed code.
- Priced by videos, not seats or credits, so the cost does not change with video length up to 15 minutes.
- Language versions, each its own MP4 and guide, with native voices in 14 languages besides English.
Where Nook does not fit. Nook does not make interactive demos, branching tours or lead capture. It has no recorder or extension of its own, no AI avatars, no timeline editor, no team workspace and no SSO. If you need prospects to click through your product, stay with Arcade or pick one of the four demo tools above.
How to choose
- Interactive demo or video? If the viewer should click, choose between Arcade, Supademo, Storylane, Navattic and HowdyGo. If the viewer should watch, look at Clueso, Screen Studio and Nook.
- How many people will build demos? Per-seat tools (Arcade, Supademo Scale, Storylane Starter) are cheapest for one to three people. HowdyGo's unlimited users get better as the team grows.
- Do you need HTML capture? Supademo, Navattic and HowdyGo offer it on their entry paid plans. Storylane starts it on Growth.
- Do you also need written docs? Clueso and Nook both produce a written guide with the video. Supademo exports demos as PDF.
- Do you want to narrate yourself? Screen Studio is great if you are on a Mac and happy to speak. Nook can keep your voice and cut the ums, or replace it with an AI voice.
Compare pricing models
- Per seat (Arcade Growth, Supademo Scale, Storylane Starter) grows with your team.
- Flat with unlimited users (HowdyGo) costs more at the start and less per person later.
- Credits or export minutes (Arcade AI video, Clueso) grow with video length and volume.
- Videos per month (Nook) costs the same whatever the length, up to 15 minutes, and whoever makes it. More on why in pricing by videos, not seats.
Pairing a demo and a video
Many teams use an interactive demo on the website for people who want to explore, and a short narrated video in onboarding emails, the help center and social posts. Keep them consistent, with the same flow and wording. Our guide on how to make a product demo video covers the video side.
