Page targeting
A visitor on your pricing page has different doubts than someone on your homepage. Page targeting lets you show the most relevant questions where they matter, instead of one generic list everywhere.
How it works
Each question has a targeting rule that decides which pages it appears on. The widget reads the current page path and shows only the matching questions.
- Everywhere (default): the question shows on all pages. Use
/for site-wide. - A specific page: set the path, for example
/pricingshows the question only on your pricing page. - A section: a path prefix matches everything beneath it, so
/blogcovers all your posts.
A good setup
- Homepage: "Is this right for me?", "How does it work?"
- Pricing: "What's included?", "Can I cancel anytime?"
- Product pages: "Will this fit my use case?"
- Near signup: "What happens after I sign up?"
Tips
Keep three to five questions per page so the widget stays focused. Check Analytics to see which questions get tapped on which pages, and record more around the ones that do.
